It's short, it's in plain English, and it actually matters. I wrote it to be read not skimmed and clicked.
No legalese. No tricks. Just what happens when you submit a problem.
Anything you submit is free for anyone to use including me. When you send a problem or idea here, you are giving it away. I can build it, change it, ignore it, or use it in any project of mine, now or later, with no payment and no permission needed. The same goes for anyone else who reads the public board.
Your submission is not confidential, and it is not yours to control once sent. Don't submit anything you want to keep secret or claim ownership of. If your idea is something you want to protect, do not put it here.
This board is me asking what's worth building it is not a promise to build anything. I may build your idea, build something similar, build it differently, or never build it at all. You're owed nothing in return for submitting, and submitting doesn't make us partners or give you any stake in what I build.
Your email is used for two things only: to ask you a question or for feedback while I'm building something related to your problem, and to ask you for feedback once it's done. That's it.
I will never sell it, share it, hand it to anyone else, or add you to any marketing or mailing list. No newsletters, no spam.
You can ask me to delete your email at any time just write to wael@waelalebrahim.com and I'll remove it.
However, the submitted problem/idea itself stays. Because submissions are public and free for anyone to use (see the top), once an idea is in, I can't un-know it or claw it back — it may already be on the public board or already built. I can detach your email and name from it, but the idea remains.
Submit real problems, in good faith. No spam, no abuse, no illegal content, no nonsense. I review every submission before anything goes public, and I'll reject (and may delete) anything that doesn't belong.
